Începe cu intrarea din Codex despre API-ul Widgets.

1. Redenumește Widget-ul

   Schimbă asta:

   class WP_Widget_Recent_Posts extends WP_Widget {}
   

   ...în asta:

   class wpse97411_Widget_Recent_Posts extends WP_Widget {}
   

2. Modifică clasa Widget-ului pentru a se potrivi nevoilor tale

3. Înregistrează Widget-ul tău:

   function wpse97413_register_custom_widgets() {
       register_widget( 'wpse97411_Widget_Recent_Posts' );
   }
   add_action( 'widgets_init', 'wpse97413_register_custom_widgets' );
